Adi Sankaracharya, a follower of Advaita, is the author of Bhaja Govindam, Soundarya Lahari, Sivananda Lahari, among many other verses which were aim at popularizing Sanmatha, a worship of 6 : Ganapathi, Kumara, Sakthi, Shiva, Surya and Vishnu.

Several poets have drawn inspiration from Adi Sankara and composed verses in their native tongue to reach to the mass. In the modern times, Mahakavi Subramanya Bharathi's works mirrored the social and spiritual ideals. We have portrayed these manifestations and prevailing customs & practices to bring you the flavor of land mass of Bharatha.
